CME Reporting Information:  CME that is obtained from an osteopathic CME sponsor will be reported on your behalf to the AOA CME Department.  However, any CME obtained from an allopathic CME sponsor should be reported by the physician to the AOA CME Department.

There is a wide variety of Self-Assessment Modules available through various radiological societies. Links are included below to assist you in finding available SAMs.

AOCR SAMS (Currently offers at six SAMs for free to members/ $50 per quiz for non-members)





A certain number of the CME credit hours obtained must be SAMs (Self-Assessment Modules) or Self-Assessment CME

  • SAMs require an assessment of what was learned
  • Each SAM must include a self-administered examination and the diplomate must meet a minimum performance level established by the SAM provider
  • SAMs will count toward the CME requirement, as well as fulfilling the SAM requirement.
